GT BBALL

Thompson went to his first GT BBALL game. He sat through the entire game and even starting clapping with the crowd. My cousin, Drew, went with us and was a super help entertaining our little guy. William’s fraternity brother gave us his tickets and we really enjoyed the game. GT beat Boston College! Thompson fell asleep in no time on the way home! Today, we went to church and then had lunch with Wade and Gayle. Our Community Group is coming over for bible study in about an hour.
On a random note, William and I have become obsessed with 24. We just started watching the first season and behind the times....we know!

New Background

William has traveled a lot lately and I don't sleep well when he is gone. Since, I’ve given up facebook for Lent (except for responding to messages and friend requests) there is more time at night to read, blog, write thank you notes and oh yeah the reason for lent…spending time with Jesus! ;) Anyway, I read The Lovely Bones…so good…and starting Beth Moore's , So Long Insecurity. All this to say...I've found some good articles on friend’s blog's, web, etc...
NY Times
William and I are going to Seattle next week and can’t wait to see our WA friends. A huge Thank you to our parents for watching Thompson....ya’ll are too good to us! Later this month we are heading to San Antonio to see Jessie and Thomas! Currently, William is in Charlotte at my parent’s house and coming home tomorrow night after dinner with his sister.
Of course no post is complete without pictures of our pride and joy:
Yesterday we went to the park near our house:

Thompson is already multi-tasking:

This is how I found him after his nap...he had taken off his pants:

Valentines Weekend

Snow fell on Friday afternoon and it was lovely! Granmom came to see us and keep Thompson so we could go out for a Valentine's Dinner. William took me to the Asian restaurant, Steel and the food was spectacular! They had a twist on my favorite dessert, Bananas Foster; the chef added strawberries and pineapples.
Saturday, we took Thompson out in the snow and Granmom built a snowman. Then, we headed to the Coke Museum to the meet Katherine Elizabeth Cudink. They came up for the day and it was great to catch up with them.
Sunday, we drove up to Cumming, GA to take some more family photos by 3 C Expressions (pictures will be posted soon). Tonight, we enjoyed a dinner at J. Alexanders with my cousins, Drew and Patrick!

Southern Pines

Mary Beth moved to Southern Pines, NC to teach elementary school and last weekend we took a trip to see her. Thompson enjoyed seeing his Aunt MB! Friday, the weather was terrible so we stayed in and then had dinner at Vito’s which had amazing garlic rolls and pizza! Saturday we toured Pinehurst No. 2 Golfcourse and had lunch at Dugan’s Pub. We shopped in Southern Pines and had dinner at Ashtens. The dessert was superb and it was a great ambiance. Thompson was a real trooper! Sunday, we headed to Raleigh and I caught up with some friends from high school & church. The weekend was jam packed and we enjoyed it!
