Happy 30th Birthday Daddy!

William turned 30 today. We had an afternoon date to play put-put and ride go karts. It was a send off to his youth. :) Then we ate at a yummy Italian Restaurant in Marietta. Thanks to Lacey, Andy and Drew for taking care of Thompson today and always!

19 Months...Where did our baby go?

Our baby got a big boy haircut on Sunday. In the afternoon, we went to William’s Reserve Unit Family Picnic. Daddy and Thompson played on the playground and we had a good lunch.

Checking out the Ducks with daddy:

After the picnic, we went to FBM to hear Third Day in a concert benefiting Nothing but Nets and Malarai No More. They were awesome! Taste of Marietta was happening so we had dinner there and walked around! It was a very fun day.

Thompson's First Prom

My Cousin, Patrick, went to his Senior Prom on Saturday. We went to take pictures and Thompson had to get in a few of the photos:

William had Navy duty this weekend. Thompson and I spent time with Mecall and Lucy at Home depot and lunch. Saturday night they joined us for dinner at Applebee’s (thanks to a Valentine ’s Day gift card from Wade and Gayle).

Petting Zoo

William celebrated the big 3-0 at his parent's cabin with guy friends last weekend. They had a blast!
While daddy was away, I took Thompson to a Petting Zoo. Our local YMCA had a kids fun day to celebrate spring! Thompson was really excited until he got up close to the animals and they started to move.
He finally warmed up to them:

Sunday, I had nursery at our church. Here is Thompson dressed in his “Sunday Best” aka clothes I got at consignment. I love the Noah's Ark:

Thompson's "Auntie"

Mary Beth whom Thompson is now calling “Auntie” visited with us on Friday & Saturday.  We had so much fun with her!
Although this picture doesn't look like it...Thompson loves Ramsey too:
Saturday, Granmom drove up and took us all out to lunch at Muss and Turner's
William and I went on a date to see “Date Night” it was funny. After, we had dinner at Vinnings Inn. Lacey and Andy kept Thompson for us overnight and let us sleep in (Thanks Y'all)!!
Thompson received his Easter gift from us in true-Henry form…a week late. Side story: Growing up, my mom gave us the option a small basket on Easter or a big basket after (because they would be on sale). We Henry-Kids wanted a big basket and we didn't care if it was late!!! I’m a lot like my money saving mom…We got Thompson a water and sand table (on sale) and he didn't care if it was late. He really loves it:

Sunday we enjoyed having our Community Group over. Here are Thompson and Lucy:

He is Risen!

The Monk's had us up to Rome to celebrate Easter. We had plenty of wonderful meals and enjoyable time. Mary Beth even came up from NC for her spring break. Thompson enjoyed playing with the kids in their Church Nursery and then having an egg hunt after. Of course no Easter is complete without bunny cookies from Grandma Leah. This was the first year Thompson was able to eat his and he loved it.

San Antonio

My brother, Thomas, and his girlfriend Jessie moved to San Antonio, TX last year. William had a conference there last week so Thompson and I went with him and we all visited with the Thomas and Jessie. On the flight out there Thompson didn't get his own seat because the plane was packed. That means he stayed up and cried and talked and walked the plane the entire time. Thomas and Jessie picked us up and took us to our Resort. Monday, we went and visited at their Apartment and had lunch at Taco Taco...best Taco I've ever had! Thomas and Jessie watched Thompson during his nap so William and I could tour downtown San Antonio; it was a fun afternoon date seeing the Alamo and Riverwalk.
Tuesday and Wednesday-William was busy with the conference and Thompson and I sat out by the pool. We met Thomas and Jessie for dinner. Thursday, everyone came out by the pool and we had lunch and played. Then we flew home. It was a very fun trip! We miss them already!

Easter Egg Hunt

The Air Force Base had an Easter egg hunt and we went with our friend’s the Lo Family. We had fun with the exception of Thompson sitting on the bunny’s lap (see picture below).
We just got back from San Antonio and it was so much fun to be with Thomas and Jessie. On the flight home Thompson had a “blowout” in the airport and we had to buy him a $20 onesie from the airport shop in San Antonio. I forgot to pack an extra outfit in our carry on. Last night, Thompson came down with the flu and got sick on mommy and daddy (at different times). It was his first time getting that “kind” of sick. He’s currently napping…so I have to get back to washing clothes.
