We're in the South

Thompson met his Aunt and Uncles and The Henry great-grandparents. Last week we were in Rome, GA visiting the Monk's and their friends. Thompson went to his first Georgia Tech Tailgate on Thursday. He had his two-month check up and weighed 11 LBS and 8 Ounces and was 23 inches. We had a Henry Thanksgiving in Charlotte this weekend. My parents had a dinner party to introduce Thompson to our friends. We leave Tuesday to see friends in Augusta and then drive to Sylvester, GA for a Monk Thanksgiving. ;) Our 3 year Anniversary is Wednesday! There is much to be thankful for.

Good Bye Washington!

We have been spending time with friends. We went to a wedding this past weekend in Seattle. Friends from my work had us for an amazing dinner. It is bitter-sweet leaving Washington. Our friends here have made this place our home. It is hard to leave our condo with a view of the sound and the mountains but we are excited about the future ahead. We leave Saturday, Nov. 15th for Atlanta.

Portland

We had great fun in Portland with William's cousins Andrew & Micah & their wives Lisa & Bobbi Jo and Micah's son Jonas. We enjoyed seeing where they live, eating at local places, Micah's birthday, and walking in downtown Portland. We are going to miss them so much! Here are some photos from the weekend.

38 Weeks

William starts at GE on January 5, 2009 in Marietta, GA. We are looking to live in Smyrna, GA; we will either rent or buy depending on if our Condo sells. Our Condo went on the market three weeks ago and we held two open houses. This weekend a third ad will run in the paper. Please keep praying we know it can sell even in this market! I am 38 weeks today! At our last growth scan (a week ago) our son weighed 6 pounds 2 ounces. They expect him to gain half a pound a week. I have another doctor’s appointment on Monday. Everyone is healthy! We praise God for His blessings! Love, Ashley, William and baby boy Monk

Family Visit

We had Thomas, McCord, and Jessie out for a visit last week and it was a blast. We went to the Space Needle Restaurant, Pike's Market, and Bainbridge Island. I am 34 weeks and have another growth scan at 37 weeks. Our house goes on the market this week. There are a few last minute things we need to get before our boy arrives. Please pray for the health of our baby boy and that our house will sell.

Our Baby Boy!

Ashley is 31 weeks! The doctors have estimated our son's arrival for September 29th. We have another growth scan at 34 weeks in Tacoma.
We had three wonderful baby showers; two in Charlotte and one with the Officer's wives. We are busy getting everything ready for our son.

William ran 22 miles last weekend in the Ragner Relay in WA. His team finished 11th out 152 teams.
