Baby Food

On March 21 Thompson had his first baby food: Carrots. He has also tried: sweet potatoes, apples, squash, pears, and green beans. Using the babycook (a gift from my aunts) has been a lot of fun, very cost effective, and best of all TWM loves food!

Spring

It has already been a busy spring. We drove to Sylvester, GA and spent time with Thompson's great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. We had a blast visiting with everyone.

On Easter we went to St. Paul's and then drove to Rome, GA for lunch.

Thompson had his six month check up on Tuesday. Dr. Greene said he is a happy, healthy & joyful baby! Height: 26 1/4 inches Weight: 17 LBS 11 oz. Head Circumference: 17 1/4 He also got his vaccines. The next checkup will be at 9 months. We are looking forward to Charleston next weekend. William and I haven't been there together since our wedding. Hope everyone had a blessed Easter!

Thompson's First Christmas

Hello All,
Happy New Year! We found a place to rent in Smyrna, GA while we try to sell our home in WA. Christmas was busy; we went to Rome, GA and Key Largo, FL. Thompson saw the beach for the first time. We enjoyed great food, fun, and family! Thompson's baptism is on Sunday, February 1st. My dad is going to be preaching and baptising him at St. Paul's in Atlanta. Thompson turns four months on the 21st. God has already blessed us with a great 2009! Love, Thompson, Ashley & William

We're in the South

Thompson met his Aunt and Uncles and The Henry great-grandparents. Last week we were in Rome, GA visiting the Monk's and their friends. Thompson went to his first Georgia Tech Tailgate on Thursday. He had his two-month check up and weighed 11 LBS and 8 Ounces and was 23 inches. We had a Henry Thanksgiving in Charlotte this weekend. My parents had a dinner party to introduce Thompson to our friends. We leave Tuesday to see friends in Augusta and then drive to Sylvester, GA for a Monk Thanksgiving. ;) Our 3 year Anniversary is Wednesday! There is much to be thankful for.

Good Bye Washington!

We have been spending time with friends. We went to a wedding this past weekend in Seattle. Friends from my work had us for an amazing dinner. It is bitter-sweet leaving Washington. Our friends here have made this place our home. It is hard to leave our condo with a view of the sound and the mountains but we are excited about the future ahead. We leave Saturday, Nov. 15th for Atlanta.

Portland

We had great fun in Portland with William's cousins Andrew & Micah & their wives Lisa & Bobbi Jo and Micah's son Jonas. We enjoyed seeing where they live, eating at local places, Micah's birthday, and walking in downtown Portland. We are going to miss them so much! Here are some photos from the weekend.
