"Staying True"
Last night I stayed up way to late finishing “Staying True” by Jenny Sanford. The book is beautifully written and an inspiration to become the best wife, mother, daughter, sister and woman I can be.

Family Portraits
Christie took more photos for us in February at a park in Cumming, GA. We highly recommend her; she is very talented!

50 is the new 30!~ ;)
Andy surprised Lacey with a Limo full of her family and a restaurant full of her friends for her 50th birthday. It was so much fun to plan much less attend. Andy went all out with a fabulous dinner at Basils and a Limo! We also got to see Mary Beth on Friday and she even waited for the babysitter to get here so we could go to the party. I’m telling you....we have the best family!
On Saturday, Patrick performed his Senior Recital and we had a graduation party at Lime. It was a THOMPSON FAMILY weekend!

Monks Farm
William’s grandparents have a Farm in Sylvester, GA and it is one of our favorite places to visit. We so enjoy seeing all the family down there and letting Thompson “run wild.” This trip we got to see Ridley (William’s cousins Son) and Thompson play together. Grandma and Granddad cooked some great meals and we also enjoy visiting with them.

Out West
William and I headed to Poulsbo, WA and Vancouver, Canada for 5 days. William had business in both places and I tagged along to check on our condo and see friends. On Wednesday, I got to spend the day with my great friend, Jennifer. She hosted a pizza party at her home with some of my favorite people! It was too short but so good to see them.
The View from our Condo.
We headed to Vancouver to the Hotel Vancouver- Fairmont; we celebrated our first anniversary in Vancouver and it was fun to come back after 3 and half years. The first night we went to eat at Market by Jean-George (Cyndi Crawford’s favorite spot).
William drove to Kamloops for a business meeting on Friday and I stayed behind to tour the city. We enjoyed seeing some of the Olympic sites. That night, we headed to more casual place called Joey.

William putting on my Christmas present from Jessie....Burberry Ear Muffs...and wearing his Olympic Pin. ;)....He's too funny...
Saturday we enjoyed one of our favorite restaurants; it’s located on the water and has a view of Stanley Park, Tilt. The weather was gorgeous and we walked around Stanley Park after lunch.
The Yarborough’s have a mountain home near Mt. Rainer and we stayed there with Andrew (William’s cousin) on Saturday. It was a lovely trip and we enjoyed it very much. A huge Thank you to: our parents, Drew, Lacey & Andy for helping with Thompson while we were gone (and always).
